About Daniel Oar

Daniel Oar spent nearly 30 years in the building industry before joining the Scenic Sotheby's International Realty team as an agent. That experience, combined with growing up with a sales background, makes him uniquely qualified to help buyers and sellers.

His family's business in sales instilled in him the importance of positive thinking, integrity and being goal-oriented, traits he brings to his clients today and considers essential in his job as an agent. Daniel's mindset is that when you become a client, you also become a friend. He enjoys finding common ground with people and believes that relationships are a two-way street — he loves learning from his clients.

His forthcoming approach helps Daniel find the best possible property for his clients' needs. He honors his word and believes in going the extra mile for his clients. These traits, combined with his professionalism, help make Daniel the perfect agent to help someone find the ideal investment property or second home, focusing on the 30A corridor along with Destin and West Panama City Beach.

Daniel also spent 20 years living abroad in Ireland, the United Kingdom and Thailand before finally settling in north Florida in 2014. He's visited 39 countries and believes his global mentality helps him connect with his clients.

In addition to travel, Daniel enjoys fishing, spending time at the beach and hiking. He wasn't familiar with the 30A area until his father gave him a book about Florida fishing villages when he was leaving Colorado. He picked this area because it reminded him of home, and now believes he is living the quintessential American dream. He and his wife live in Inlet Beach.
