About Blake Morar

 

Blake Morar began his career in real estate as a green 23-year-old with just $1,500 in his pocket. Today, he co-owns Scenic Sotheby’s International Realty. Thanks to 111 full-time sales associates and a 2024 sales volume topping $1.4 billion, it is the No. 1 real estate brokerage along Florida’s Emerald Coast. Blake grew up in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and earned a degree in marketing from Louisiana Tech University in 1996. He immediately relocated to Destin and found his passion in real estate. In 2014, Destin Real Estate Company affiliated with Sotheby’s International Realty, affording its clients both the local knowledge they’d come to expect and the global reach of a worldwide brand.

 

To date, Blake has completed $1.5 billion in career sales. In 2024, he led his team, the Morar Group, to a sales volume exceeding $93 million. Blake believes in putting the client first and never compromising standards, a philosophy that has served him well over his 29-year career.

 

He particularly enjoys getting to know new clients and forming genuine connections with them. That innate desire to understand where people are coming from and where they’re going, combined with the local connections, strategic insights, and proven experience he provides, is what helps him ensure his clients achieve their real estate goals. In his free time, Blake enjoys paddleboarding, biking, and exploring local beaches with his two sons, Hank and Gus.
