Beth Hendricks joined Scenic Sotheby's International Realty in 2018 as a marketing coordinator before transitioning to integrated marketing manager and, most recently, director of marketing, where she leads numerous initiatives including social media, editorial content and client communications.
Born and raised near Huntington, West Virginia, she began her college journey at Marshall University before completing a bachelor's degree in journalism and mass communications at Bowling Green State University. Despite having the hair for broadcast, she had the heart for the written word with award-winning pieces featured in The Epoch Times, The San Francisco Chronicle, The Herald-Dispatch, Cumberland Times-News, The Courier, as well as online at Sothebys.com, GaffreyArtMaterial.com SteadyContent.com, System1.com, Study.com, HowStuffWorks.com, 22Words.com and LoveToKnow.com. She served as adjunct faculty at Mountwest Community and Technical College and as a student journalist with the National Conventions Project, working with Reuters and Agence France-Presse.
Beth earned a master's degree in integrated marketing communications from West Virginia University and served in a variety of roles including marketing director at Goodwill Industries of KYOWVA Area Inc.; marketing strategist at Bowles Rice LLP; and, editorial and marketing director at the Personal Injury Lawyers Marketing and Management Association. She holds a gamification certification from The Wharton School, an inbound certification from HubSpot and a certified networker certification from the Referral Institute.
In her free time, she enjoys reading, going to the beach, watching documentaries and movies, and following her favorite athletic teams including Marshall and New England Patriots football. You'll seldom find her without iced coffee in her hand and a true crime podcast queued up. She previously volunteered as regional director at The For A Day Foundation, where they create emotionally therapeutic experiences for seriously ill children, and at Reading Pals at United Way Emerald Coast. She is a big fan of making lists and crossing things off.
